DeCoverly Kennels offers pointing dog, retriever, and all-breed obedience training. We are licensed to train year-round and are situated on extensive acreage with a variety of both prepared and natural cover. We have multiple prepared fields of sorghum, oats, jack millet, and switch grass. We also manage several wooded covers and an overgrown apple orchard for grouse and woodcock.

Our kennel contains 10 indoor/outdoor training runs, where the dogs have plenty of space to enjoy their stay. We have 10 fenced acres behind the kennel, five open and five wooded, where we can safely run dogs that have not yet been reliably trained to come when called. We also have a variety of both open and “stick” (flooded timber) ponds for retriever training.
