In
1916, George Ryman began the now legendary Ryman
Kennel (1916 - 1975). Over the span of these years,
his single-minded pursuit of the perfect Gentleman's
shooting dog created the standard by which all
others are measured.
The Patriarch of the Ryman Line was Sir Roger
DeCoverly. His Powerful genetic influence continues
to the present in the Kennel that bears his name.
Today's DeCoverly Kennel breeds the largest existing
gene pool of the Ryman Line and proudly continues
this fine tradition. Nearly a century later, the
enduring abundance of pure instinct and personality
sets DeCoverly English Setters apart.
